Level 3 · About 4 hours

Practical Navigator

AI stops being a novelty and starts saving you real time each week.

Now we put it to work on the things that actually take up your days: correspondence, appointments, health paperwork. And — importantly — how to tell when it is wrong.

What this level covers

  1. Email and calendar

Drafting replies, summarising a long message, and getting appointments onto a calendar without typing them twice.

  2. Health uses

Preparing questions before an appointment, understanding a diagnosis in plain words, keeping a symptom record. Never for diagnosis itself.

  3. Beyond the general assistants

When a purpose-built tool beats a chatbot, and how to tell the difference.

  4. Spotting a wrong answer

The single most valuable skill here. AI states incorrect things in a confident voice. What that looks like, and how to check.

  5. Keeping what you liked

Saving useful conversations so you can find them again next month.

  6. Your own toolkit

Choosing three or four tools that suit your life and ignoring the rest.

Try it yourself

Three short exercises. There is nothing to submit and nobody is marking them.

  • Have an assistant summarise a long email, then read the original. Did it miss anything that mattered?
  • Prepare a list of questions for your next medical appointment.
  • Deliberately ask about something you know deeply, and catch it making a mistake.
Still being made Video tutorials, step-by-step screenshots, and the printable “Checking an Answer — one page, large print” cheat sheet are in production for this level. In the meantime, the written steps above stand on their own, and the two finished guides are ready to print today.
